Many of you may be aware of Ameé Quiriconi's fascinating podcast, One Broken Mom. She has been kind enough to host me several times for book discussions. Recently we got together to talk about the recent reissue of my first book, Who You Were Meant to Be, and also to celebrate the 100th episode of One Broken Mom. You can find it on You Tube under the podcast title and my name, or you can simply click on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBpkDAqccf4&t=671s  Hope you enjoy!

I purchased a consultation several days ago and have not heard anything from your team, and there appears to be no way to contact you on the website other than here (and there was no contact information on the receipt).

Please let me know what's going on via the email provided here ASAP.

I do not think anyone knows who they are really meant to be. We have an idea of who we want to become when we grow up, but at the end of the day, no one really knows what the future holds. For the lucky ones, they do end up being who they always wanted to be. But for the others, they end up being a different version of who they thought they would be. There is nothing wrong with that because what matters is that you will enjoy the life you end up with.

Hello Dr Lindsay, what about ethnic parents that hold traditional values that act like emotionally immature parent s or have the same effect on their children by ignoring their needs due to cultural values ?

Dear Doctor, I got your book last weekend and it shocked me. The book describes my mother. I am 56 and just finding it out. What do I do next... what approach should I take?.

Dr. Gibson. Maybe it's time for your own podcast. I run a small project helping people launch podcasts. Shoot me an email if you want to hear an idea or two. Love your work.

Dear Dr Gibson

I’m part way through adult children. I feel like I have found my tribe in the stories you recount. In relation to both my parents I think. I’m confident my parents are/were emotionally immature. However despite signs to the contrary in listening to the description of EI people a few times I’m concerned that I might be EI. I’m generally praised and always have been complimented on my maturity and empathy but now I’m nervous. Do you address anything like this in your work

I’m also aware of the tendency to self diagnose after a psychological lecture.

Thanks so much for your work.

Dear Dr. Gibson,
Your books, interviews on YouTube and the PESI presentations have positively impacted me in such a profound way. Thank you for your clear communication and straightforward approach to explaining the Emotionally Immature Relationship System. I have been on a journey reading Dr. Charles Whitfield, Janina Fischer and other wise authors. Your work culminates understanding with action steps, which leads to healing, hope and a sense of that it is ok to thrive and let your Soul soar without the chains of misplaced loyalty outside one's true Self. I so thank you for your tenacity in writing your books, the time you take to do YouTube interviews and the PESI presentations. My heart, Soul and Inner Child thank you immensely.

Is easy to blame other people's parents or family or freinds for the way we are, they're people.they never grow up . no matter who's parents are. I disagree with this doctor point of view, even if she is a professional. No body knows the brain or mind of a person individual., 👁️

For the last 50 years, experts in the field of substance abuse say that ~10% of the US adult population suffers from alcoholism. Two of the seemingly unvarying conditions of alcoholics are egocentricity and stunted maturation. This would seem to me to explain why these problems are so endemic to so many families and parent-child relationships.
